Song for the Noisy Head

S
I've come to watch a waterfall
Enjoy birds and watch them wing
So please stop interrupting me
With so-called important things

All I ask is solitude
Don't need your rude intrusions
I'll hold my ears so I don't hear
Your attempts to cause confusion

Gonna have a whiskey
Maybe drop a magic pill
Take a deep and calming breath
To get your voice to chill

I'm just here to write some words
To read a poem without disruption
Muse of mine you are not
More like sirens of seduction

I'll find a way to stop the noise
Circumvent your tricks and demands
I'll drown your shout and cast you out
Step up and take command

Gonna have a whiskey
Maybe drop a magic pill
Take a deep and calming breath
To get my mind to still

Get my mind to still
Get your voice to chill
